Welcome to the second grade page!
Kristen Grimmell Kathy McAvoy Melissa Heavel Meghann Kiernan
In second grade at North Bend Elementary School children are preparing to make the transition from primary into the intermediate grades with a partnership between parents and school staff. In this year students continue to build on the solid foundation of previous years, taking their skills and strategies and developing more advanced reading, writing and math skills. We focus on responding to questions, both orally and written across the curriculum. Social studies and science provide enrichment with hands on investigations and explorations. Children are strengthening the foundation of a bridge into the intermediate years.
On this page we are providing a variety of links to outside websites that can help the students and their families build on their success. We hope you enjoy and benefit from these links. As always, it is important to have parental guidance when your child is using the Internet.
