Welcome to the Fifth Grade Page

In fifth grade at
North Bend Elementary School, our goal is to enjoy the
final year in elementary school and
prepare
for the middle school years ahead. We will strive to
develop responsibility in our students. We work to develop
skills in goal-setting and bringing each goal to
completion. In fifth grade we offer students the
opportunity to hold jobs within the school. Field trips to Harford Glen and
Havre de Grace enrich our science and social studies curriculums. Musical
opportunities, Patriot Days, Field Day, student-faculty sporting
events, and end of year activities make 5th grade a
busy and fulfilling culmination of the elementary years. Together with the
families of our students, we are working to encourage
productive citizenship and life long
learning.
