Welcome to the North Bend Elementary School Website. We are a community of life-long learners, working together to provide meaningful educational and social experiences for our students. North Bend Elementary School, located in rural Jarrettsville, Harford County, Maryland, opened in September, 1991. Since then the staff and parents have worked in a successful partnership to create a supportive and challenging learning environment, dedicated to meeting the needs of all students. North Bend Elementary School is proud of its wonderful monthly PTA newsletter. In it each month you will find a letter from our principal, Mr. Steve Hardy, articles about student events, notice of upcoming activities and events, and a monthly calendar. We would love to send you an electronic copy of the newsletter as soon as it is published, so be sure to sign up in the area to the left. Give us your email address, and your child's or children's names, and we'll save paper by sending your copy by email attachment. It is necessary to sign up each year to receive the newsletter by email. Thanks to Mrs. Kris Foster for editing the newsletter. Parent volunteers make a huge difference!
North Bend Elementary will be moving to a new website for the coming school year. During the 2010-2011 school year all Harford County Public Schools will be moving to Edline to report general school information to include school news, calendar, school profile, bus routes, lunch menus to mention a few. To assist parents with the process of making the transition to the new home page for North Bend Elementary School the following link is provided to all North Bend parents for general access. Any and all school related information is available to parents without logging into Edline. Give us a test drive. The following link is provided to assist parents in making the move over the remaining months of the current school year. Effective August of 2010, the Edline homepage will become the only site used by North Bend for posting school related news and information. Should you as a parent have any difficulty in accessing our new site, please feel free to contact our school office for assistance.

The letter contains information about how the situation is being handled at Harford County Schools, including North Bend, as well as several informational links.
